It is times like these that you wait for, that you pray for, that you can't help but relive in your mind over and over and over again ... the times where you have to isolate yourself and enjoy your own thoughts. I only feel like this maybe 3 or 4 times a year, and it's so hard to cherish it. Cherishing is bullshit if you ask me, because when something's over, it's over, and memories (though unbelievably valuable) never justify reality. Times like these are what we wake up for.

This time, however, is bittersweet; amazing yet unfair ... possible yet impossible. And it sucks, like a lot. But just to remember how it feels to be genuinely excited, to be just confused by happiness, to smile when you're not even thinking to, is often enough for me. You can't ask for everything, and you certainly can't ask for the right timing.
